November 14 2023 -Notice! Bruce Buxton Memorial Tournament Postponed
The Bruce Buxton Memorial Tournament has been postponed to January 28, 2024 due to the originally planned date conflicting with other Legion Darts Tournaments!
September 13 2023 - This website is once again the place for info and updates.
The Tuesday website is now up and running for the 2023 - 2024 Season. It will now once again become a reliable source for information such as Calendar, Schedule, Weekly Stats Updates and occasional News Clips.
This week the Stats update took a few hours longer than anticipated, that basically always happens on the first week of the season, especially when there is new personnel ramping up the learning curve and comms regarding updates are worked out.
But from here forward, weekly stats updates should usually take less than a day, sometimes early on the morning after Darts night.
So DO drop by and check frequently! The latest and fastest info source will be this website going forward. Cheers!
May 08 2023 - The 2023 Summer Jitneys and 2023-2024 Tuesday Season Info
Tuesday's Summer Jitneys will start on May 23 2023. Players must be at the Legion by 6:45pm.
A new Calendar version A for the 2023-2024 Season is now available at the bottom of the Stats page.
Registration for this fall's 2023-2024 Season will be on September 05 2023 at 7:00 pm, first night of regular season play will be on September 12 also at 7:00 pm.
Note The format for the new season will be going back to the same fixed-teams and fixed-schedule style that was the standard up until about 3 years ago, with teams of 3 players being set for the season. The teams will be selected for best balance by the executive after Registration night. Once the teams are drawn, the Schedule will be posted on the Stats Page at the bottom.
The Stats Page will also resume its original purpose, with weekly stats being posted within a day of game night ending.

September 14 2022 - The 2022 - 2023 Tuesday Season is underway!
Registration on September 13 has set the player list for the 2022 - 2023 Darts season. First game night is September 20 and will continue into April.
The Tuesday League is not a classic "walk in jitney". The season's registered players come each week and the teams are redrawn every week. Spare players will be needed at times through the season, but will be called out as required. If you would like to play as a spare, call Mel Grove (Contacts Page) and she will put you on the spares callout list.
The new Calendar version E is now available at the bottom of the Stats page.
May 20 2022 - Tuesday Summer Jitneys are underway
The Tuesday Summer Jitneys have begun. Just drop by any time before quarter to 7 any Tuesday through the summer and put your name in the hat.

March 06 2022 - Tuesday Jitneys are underway again!
The Alberta Government has lifted the remaining barriers which prevented us from resuming our Darts League activities. So Tuesday walk in Jitneys are once again underway! There is a new Calendar (version "O") for all 3 Legion Leagues now available on the Stats page.
Here's a segment from the Legion 271's News Flash:
"ALL COVID RESTRICTIONS LIFTED Masks no longer required, but may be worn at your discretion ST. ALBERT LEGION RESUMING NORMAL OPERATIONS REGULAR TUESDAY NIGHT DARTS STARTING TONIGHT. The pool table, card games and interactive games are now available. Please remember masks are still required in the city of Edmonton. Covid, cold and flu are still around. Do not attend the Branch if you are feeling ill!"

February 18 2022 - Tuesday Jitneys may resume soon?
The Alberta Government has promised to incrementally eliminate the remaining barriers which currently prevent us from resuming our Darts League activities.
So it is time to watch this space more frequently! Recent provincial announcements lead us to believe that March 1st could be the date we resume, but that is not yet fixed, it could be earlier or later than that date. We will be emailing all of our participants once our schedule dates seem more clear.

September 28, 2021 - Schedule Suspended, now Open Jitneys
Due to changing circumstances, the 2021 - 2022 Season Schedule for the Tuesday Night Darts League has been suspended. The format going forward for the forseeable future is to run an open jitney on Tuesday nights instead of scheduled games.
August 06, 2021 - Season Start Dates
Confirmed by Mel this morning... The 2021 - 2022 season will get underway with registration on September 7th and 14th, and first regular season games will go ahead on September 21st.
If you want to register but can't make it on either of those registration dates, just go to the contact page to give one of the execs a call or send an email before registration ends on the 14th.

July 14, 2021 - The return of Tuesday Jitneys!
Hello dart players!
Hope the summer is going well for all of you. Just a short note to let you know that we are finally able to start a Jitney at the St. Albert Legion.
The first one is Tuesday 20 Jul 21. If you are interested in joining the fun, please be at the legion NLT 1845 hrs (6:45 pm) to register. ALL are welcome so please feel free to pass this along.
