Introduction

Tuesday Night Mixed Darts is a fun league for players of all skill levels. All games are held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #271 on Tache Street in St. Albert each Tuesday night starting at 7:00 pm. See the Calendar or Schedule at the bottom of the Stats Page.

The Tuesday League is going back to the kind of schedule format that was used up until a few years ago, with a fixed schedule of games and teams. The 3 player teams are selected for best balance by the executive from the list of players who sign up on or before Registration night, and are set for the season.

Anyone who can commit to play darts on Tuesdays from 7:00 pm until around 9:30 can sign up. If you can't make it for the September 05 registration, check the Contacts Page and call or email Mel or Moe before the end of registration night and ask to be put on the list.

Or just drop in on a casual walk in basis on any regular season game play night as we almost always need spare players of various skill levels to sub in for missing players. To play as spare you should arrive no later than 6:45 to sign up.

Registration this year will be on September 05, and the first regular weekly games will start on September 12 and will continue into April. Check the News Page for latest updates, and check the Stats Page (at the bottom) for the latest version of the Season Calendar.

Gameplay

Every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm, our games get underway. The seven games are all "501", and are "double in, double out". A throw for the bullseye determines the right to throw first, and the losing team keeps score for the first game. Scorekeeping alternates between teams after that.

All 7 games include all 3 players on each team.

Score sheets are provided at the start of each game night, and these indicate the night's team pairings and assign a board number. The stats are recorded and totalled on the sheet which is then given to the Statistician to end the night.

The statistician provides updated stats and standings and the webmaster will post this information usually within a day on this website. Printed copies are available at the next darts night.
